At the heart of each system is the unique high-performance cone (turbine), made of glass fiber–reinforced plastic. Its aerodynamic design ensures a high level of efficiency while minimizing noise emissions.
  • All MobyDick dust control systems operate on the principle of using the finest water droplets to contain dust.
    A modern high-pressure pump, combined with a powerful filtration system, special nozzles, and an aerodynamically designed high-performance cone (turbine), ensures the production of optimally sized droplets and their efficient distribution.
  • These droplets can be directed toward the dust source as needed, either through a nozzle ring (for wide-area coverage), a nozzle head (for direct targeting of the dust source), or by using both methods together.
  • The fine droplets interact with the airborne dust particles, causing them to quickly settle to the ground.
    The result: a significant reduction in air pollution from dust, protecting people’s health and preserving the environment.
  • The high-performance cone (turbine), developed in collaboration with the Institute of Aerodynamics at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW), is made of durable glass fiber–reinforced plastic. It offers high resistance to wear, reduced noise levels, and ease of maintenance and repair.
  • Thanks to its innovative shape (with inverted aerodynamic angles) and the integrated stators inside, this turbine achieves exceptional efficiency.
    It generates a powerful airflow that centrally and precisely directs the fine water droplets toward the dust source, ensuring highly efficient dust binding and reducing its spread in the air.
