Determining the correct dimensions of the water recycling system is crucial for the performance of the Moby-Dick system.
Many factors must be carefully considered to ensure that the interaction between the water recycling concept and the washing unit works perfectly.
FRUTIGER employs highly trained experts with extensive experience from thousands of completed projects, supported by a diverse product range and meticulous planning methodology.
This ensures that each system has the appropriate water recycling concept to achieve maximum efficiency.

Water recycling in MobyDick systems is based on the principle of sedimentation within recycling tanks that are optimally dimensioned.
These tanks can be selected from our wide product range or constructed on-site using cast concrete. Special attention must be given to the planned sludge removal process: the greater the amount of dirt and the finer the materials, the longer the sedimentation process will take — and therefore, the tanks must have a larger capacity.
The dimensions of the water recycling system can be calculated using the attached table and equation.
The divisor “8.5” is based on empirical values derived from over 6,000 installed wheel washing systems, to simplify the determination of the required tank size.
MobyDick recycling tanks are available in a variety of sizes and shapes, and can be flexibly combined with each other.

Depending on the specific requirements of each project
FRUTIGER works in collaboration with the client to develop a customized recycling concept, precisely designed to match the wheel washing system used — in terms of size and dirt removal efficiency.
